History of the Trophy

This trophy represents participation in — and possible achievement of — the Full-Contact Opening Tournament, held on February 23, 1991, organized by GDC-Contact. With a robust structure and striking appearance, it brings the essence of controlled combat: discipline, strength and sportsmanship. It is a piece with historical value in a period when martial arts gained great prominence in Portugal.
