It was April 1, 2017, but for those young karatecas, there was no room for games. The Montemor-o-Velho Pavilion sehand with energy and concentration: it was FNK-P's National Club Championship day, and the best teams in the country were gathered to play on the podium-each representing not only their club but also months of silent training, sacrifice and discipline.

The room was absolutely silent. Only the sound of the controlled breaths and the light brush of the feet in Tatami filled the space. It was the final of the Portuguese Cup of FNKP, category Kata Female Team - Cadets. Three athletes side by side, united not only by the technique, but for months - years - of training, dedication and friendship.
