History of the Trophy

This elegant and symbolic trophy represents the victory of the 1st District Team in the II Marquês de Pombal Tournament, held on November 10, 2002. With a sober design, probably adorned with a stylized chess piece — such as a king, knight or rook — it conveys strategic intelligence, mental discipline and collective spirit.
